The French Chamber of Commerce Singapore is looking for its
HEAD OF FINANCE & ADMIN
Responsibilities and duties:
Multi-function positions in Finance, HR and IT.
Manage a team of 3 people one accountant, one account assistant and one admin and accounts.
Finance: 70%
1) General Accounting
Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements.
Analysis of accounts (exceptional provisions, operational charges ...)
Review of income taxes, Quarterly GST Return,
Manage the ROS register
2) Receivables and Payables
Supervise the accounts receivable aging
Follow up of monthly cut-off, control of the turnover, regular forecasts, Monitoring and control of recovery of litigation cases
3) Suppliers and Purchasing Cycle
Validation and control of supplier payments
Management of the cut-off suppliers for all types of purchases (analysis of outstanding receipt, tracking orders to be approved)
4) Financial control and report:
Supports budget and forecasting activities
5) Year audit:
Manage the Yearly audit with external auditors
Justify the balance of accounts
Provide financial documents
6) Treasury
Management of current accounts and bank relations
Human Resources 20%
Responsible for payroll including medical and expense claims payment
Keep the employment contracts compliant with the local regulations and group policy
Payment to CPF and other governmental agencies
Payroll Services: 5%
Manage the customer portfolio of payroll services
IT 2%
Contribution to the development of different management tools for all department (CRM, website, payments online, Purchase Order, Booking Form )
Follow-Up Network Infrastructure of the French Chamber with the IT supplier
Implantation of new tools
Admin: 3%
Follow up of all the insurance and rental contracts (Business Centre)
Responsible of the administration for the office including domiciliation
Profil requis : Master s degree with 5 years experience in finance/accounting Minimum 5 years experience as a finance controller Experience in project management would be a plus Good computer skills (Microsoft Office), including advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, experience on Exchequer and Sage would be a plus Successful experience in team leadership Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities Ability to work independently with clear direction Excellent judgment, planning and organizational skills Knowledge of French and English is essential.
