About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and report directly to our VP of Franchise Operations.
All our Business Development Managers are inspiring, creative and innovative and have a real desire to grow our global brand.They work autonomously and are a hands on leader who can develop effective working relationships with our Franchise Partners. Their key responsibilities include:
Provide support and advice in areas including customer service, sales, marketing, staffing, retail excellence, business planning, business coaching and business reporting
Liaise with other support departments, technical specialists, Poolwerx Advisory Council (PAC) to satisfy the requirements of the Franchise Partners
Collaborate with other departments on new initiatives and assist with education
coach and counsel franchise partners to reach individual store and territory goals
Conduct effective regional training & development workshops for Franchise Partners
Evaluate the franchise performance compared to company policies and procedures, analyze sales and cost data and provide specific customized direction to improve in these areas.
About You
You are a passionate people person, you are focused on your Franchise Partners and constructively share feedback with the support team to drive continuous improvement. You bring a sense of humor and empathy to the position and a sense of satisfaction seeing others succeed..
As well as the above essential attributes you have also:
Demonstrated track record in driving improvement in business performance across multiple sites
Strong leadership & relationship building skills
Demonstrated ability to execute Strategic territory management
Strong financial management experience / expertise
Analytical and report writing expertise to support continuous business improvement
What You have
You have well and truly experienced the world of Franchising as franchising experience along with a valid and current Drivers License is essential for this role
5+ years multi-unit leadership
Ability to travel Interstate on a regular basis to meet with Franchise Partners, attend meetings and Conventions and be an active contributor to group meetings in sharing best practice with your peers
