Job Description
Job Title: Kafka Consultant
Contract Duration: 12 months
Location: Hybrid in Plano TX Pleasanton CA or Phoenix AZ
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Kafka expert who is well versed in Kafka broker and other components
Experience in Confluent platform 7.x is a big plus
Experience building clusters using ci/cd tools
Automation of repetitive tasks like topic creation connector creation rbac provisioning
Experience with Schema registry and KSQL
Experience with Ansible cpansible
Experience in setting up DR / ActiveActive clusters
Experience with Cluster linking and Schema linking
Able to troubleshoot producer and consumer issues and provide suggestions to developers on the tuning parameters
Experience with IBM MQ IBM IIB MIM Stonebranch
Experience setting up various connectors: MQ Jdbc Splunk BQ Blob etc ..
Able to support highpriority production issues and bring it closure and provide RCA & fix
Part of oncall ROTA and support production INCs and perform oncall checks
