I found this agency to be a great place to work due in large part to the people I worked with and worked for. It was a work environment with a dual focus on both their clients and their employees. The Role You Will Play
He/she ensures that the agency provides the highest quality service/product and manages the workflow to ensure completion on time and within agreed upon budgets.
Interact with the client s associate product managers and product managers levels and, in addition, with traffic managers and advertising/promotion managers in regard to issues beyond the day-to-day account needs.
Have contact at the product director level and above.
Seek ways to develop the client s brands through solid strategic and tactical recommendations
Ensure total quality control of final output to client encouraging excellence from all Agency sources
Pursue new business development on behalf of the agency.
Prepare quarterly competitive analysis (or supervise the preparation of)
Develop and foster positive relationships and alliances with all client departments (market research, medical, regulatory, sales training)
Generate or supervise the generation of accurate work orders and provide timely estimates/revised estimates when appropriate for all active projects
Assist in management of account profitability by generating or supervising the generation of financial reports and monitoring the hours/OOP against ongoing agency projects.
Communicate financial status of the account to product management and internal senior management on a monthly basis; monitor hours and OOP on a biweekly basis
Responsible for prebilling, job closing and final billing or supervising the AE/SAE on these tasks
Generate additional revenue opportunities for agency (increase projects on brand and new business development)

Review copy and layout to ensure adherence with tactical and strategic direction
Participate in strategic and tactical planning sessions to acquire an understanding for the overall marketing of assigned brands
Participate in strategic sessions at the Agency and at Client to continue to develop strategic thinking and knowledge across other therapeutic categories
Develop the skill to convert scientific and market research information to marketing ideas
Interface with traffic managers (or direct AE/SAE report) to establish needs and actions on a daily basis
Establish weekly meetings with finance/accounting to ensure proper financial reporting and billing
Background Profile
Bachelor s degree
2+ years of experience
HCP and Patient/Consumer experience preferred
