Responsibility
Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations.
Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules.
On-sites monitoring and conducting regular safety inspections on activities within an operating railway test centre premises and day to day facilities maintenance works.
Identify and recommend best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance and mentoring to the WSH team on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
Implement practical pollution control measures, material wastage control and 3-R.s programme to safeguard the environment complying with PUB and NEA.
Environmental Control Management (ECM) requirements.
Maintain and update all WSH records, certificates and reports in accordance with WSH regulation.
Carry out experiential training to all workers, staff and facilities users, site personnel, including contractors and subcontractors.
Continuous improvement on the EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 1800 management standards.
Achieve zero safety demerit points from Ministry of Manpower and other agencies.
Requirements
Registered WSHO and ECO with minimum 5 years of working experience in building and preferably familiar with railway construction and operator environment.
Familiar with the safety, health and environmental legislations as well as risk management procedure
Familiar with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ConSASS standards and requirements.
Be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
