Job Description
- Performing regular cleaning tasks such as vacuuming floors, dusting furniture, and cleaning bathrooms
- Supervising and training other members of the housekeeping staff
- Managing the purchasing and inventory of supplies for the housekeeping department
- Scheduling and arranging for cleaning services as needed, such as carpet cleaning or extermination services
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure that rooms are ready for guests upon check-in
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate staff member for resolution
- Preparing rooms for guests by dusting furniture, changing linens, and making beds
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other materials
- Maintaining a safe working environment for all employees by enforcing company policies and procedures
