Job Description
- Carry out theday-to-dayaccounting functions of the programme including, but not limited to:
- Support with handing in-country cash that necessary security measures are in place and are being followed
- Conducting regular cash counts, verifying amounts held and reporting any discrepancies
- Providing colleagues with needed amounts to paying suppliers invoices.
- Supporting colleagues in cash handling and financial transactions.
- Contribute to ensuring all financial transactions are carried out in accordance with the Medair guidelines and procedures.
- Enter financial transactions timely in Medair’s templets.
- Support with weekly& monthlyaccounting functions of the programme including, but not limited to:
- Produce accurate weekly accounts within the agreed timeframe, including the compilation and finalisation of weekly expense for designated account.
- Support the programme teams with the Cash Assistance programming and distributions.
- Report immediately any possible fraud or theft to the Finance Manager.
