Establish, maintain and manage a robust cost estimate framework ensuring industry standard methodology with focus on Mechanical Scope.
To initiate and implement the project cost coding with its corresponding structure in a compatible manner to accommodate the requirements of other disciplines i.e.
Provide functional and technical financial leadership for local project cost planning and forecasting
Analyze and report on complex financial/cost circumstances
Provide oversight and advice for project team functions to improve control outcomes
Prepare and maintain project cost estimates through the full cost estimate classification range and prepare supporting basis of estimate documentation.
Participate in contractor's cost estimate kick-off meetings to establish all deliverables, including formats, WBS and cost estimate review schedule.
Participate actively in project risk review and probabilistic analysis to support contingency determination process.
Maintain document audit trail on all elements of project cost estimates.
