Job Description

Prepare Estimated Voyage results of assigned services once the vessel complete the voyage, to give management visibility of the Voyage wise Operating P&L
• Handle Disbursement Account (DA) and Monthly Statement of Accounts (MSA) for the agents coming under designated sectors / services for Feeder business. Review all the expenditure (basis provided supporting invoices), secure VP approval and send to Finance for booking the expenses and processing the payment. If errors identified, liaise with operations team for clarification and address to agency billing departments to issue Credit notes. Maintain records of disputed invoices and follow up with port billing until resolution
• Produce Financial and Business performance reports for Management such as Service wise Budget vs. Actual report, MMS Dashboard, Agency Performance report and Customer wise P&L
• Assist Network & Product team with feasibility study for new tenders and network optimization studies for feeder business in assigned sectors within the existing network
• Maintain database for costing and provide the data for business analysis to different stake holders (Corporate Finance, Internal and External Auditors, Consultants and other departments when required)
• Produce Model ship for service wise and sector wise costing to be used by commercial team as reference for pricing the SOC (Shippers Own Containers) customers
• Produce ISO KPI reports in Power BI, to be used for ISO Internal and External Audit
• Assist Line Manger with preparation of reports for operating budgets and forecast, modelling and monthly accounts closing for feeder business
• Assist Line Manager to prepare sector wise / service wise profitability report for Liner COC (Carriers Own Containers) business
• Assist Finance department in monthly closing of accounts by providing port related expense details for assigned sector / services, which helps them to make accrual
• Keep records of documents and ensure compliance with Milaha’s ISO & BSC (British Safety Council) policies and procedures
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including ad hoc financial analysi
