Job Description

  • Performs preventive equipment maintenance.

  • Responds to all requests in a timely manner.

  • Performs minor roadside repairs, flat tires, dead batteries, and vehicle malfunctions.

  • Performs recovery of Commercial Lease Vehicle Branch CLVB and TMP assets as directed throughout the AOR.

  • Performs evacuation of equipment to commercial and government repair facilities, using commercial and military recovery vehicles.

  • Performs on-site repair or recovery IAW technical manuals, commercial manuals, and safety and local policies.

  • May perform duties as a mechanic and/or other duties as needed.



Requirements

  • Minimum of four (4) years experience as a Recovery Operator or Tow Truck Driver and one (1) year Vehicle Mechanic experience.

  • Military (Army) recovery operations training is highly desired.

  • Read, write, and speak English at proficiency level 3.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must provide a copy of the diploma.
