IT Specialist

Job Description

• Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands
• Install and configure software and hardware
• Manage network servers and technology tools
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Troubleshoot issues
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models
• Manage and Troubleshoot Camera CCTV, IP Camera, Attendance machine
• Manage and Troubleshoot Backup tool sage daily operations of the IT department
• Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction
• Coordinate the needs of in-house IT experts and remote employees, vendors, and contractors
• Manage and oversee departmental quotas
• Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT department

Job Requirements

• BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field
• Proven experience as a System Administrator,Network Administrator or similar role
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Communication skills
• proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
• Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best.

  Practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols

• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
• BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional Certification (MCSA) (CCNA), Fortinet, VMware
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
