Job Description
- Assist to develop and implement effective design strategies that are in line with the overall business strategy of the design department.
- Assist the Design Manager and Technical Manager in developing and implementing cost efficient design methods and precast solutions aligned with the company strategy.
- Assist the Design Manager to plan, distribute and control the daily design work of the department both in-house and outsourced. Control includes the verification and checking of design output both calculation and drawings focusing on safety, quality and optimum use of materials.
- Participate and represent the Design Department in meetings with other departments, clients and consultants to meet contracts and project objectives.
- Assist the Design Manager and Technical Manager in developing the ARA technical standards and Design Manuals.
- Ensure the total compliance of approved procedures and processes within the design department.
- Assist to manage staff within their areas of responsibility to ensure effective utilization of their time and skills.
