Wireless Engineer

Install and troubleshoot Cisco wireless Networks, Wireless Controllers, Access Points, Network Access Control systems, Wireless Network Management tools

Evaluating the performance of Media Access Control (MAC) and higher layers of various types of wireless networks

Use monitoring tools, protocol analyzers and cable testers to troubleshoot, diagnose and identify failing/failed networking components

Select and implement tools to aid in the support of the network environment

Create disaster recovery test plans and participate in backup and recovery of systems and databases

Provide 24x7 support, on a rotating basis, as required by the needs of the organization

Periodically review Network documentation to ensure both accuracy and completeness

Troubleshoot wireless devices, phones, tables, laptop and medical equipment

Deploy and maintain equipment to support networks and remote sites

Test connectivity standards for wireless client devices
