Job Description
- Due to the nature of the work environment, the job holder is required to have the ability to solve problems and make decisions in a dynamic way. The role requires analytical thought to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations, demonstration of sound commercial awareness during decision making and the ability to apply skills and knowledge to a range of problems and issues, drawing upon previous experience to resolve problems for scenarios that may not be covered by standard procedures.The role also requires effective communication skills able to negotiate internally and externally across a range of levels and with high-level sensitivity to multiple audiences.The job holder must also have experience of managing people, in order to effectively lead a team of diverse talent and experience of managing a diverse range of SHE projects within a changing environment, delivering within budget and to agreed timescales.Qualifications:The role holder must hold one or more of the following qualifications:Occupational Health CertificateNEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and SafetyLevel 5 NVQ in Occupational Safety and Health PracticeLevel 6 NCRQ Diploma in Applied Health and SafetyNEBOSH Diploma in Environmental ManagementSafety, Health and/or Environmental Honors Degree (Bachelors or Higher)Equivalent qualification in Safety, Health and/or Environmental subject
