Job Description
- This includes taking the lead, controlling and monitoring projects so that they are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements, regularly reviewing and reporting on progress against plans, and where necessary, intervening to resolve issues which threaten delivery to plan. To achieve this, it will be necessary to ensure that projects adhere to all policies and procedures, and that they are carried out in such a way as to minimise risk and maximise opportunity. The post holder will ensure that his team possesses the required resources and capabilities to effectively deliver the project in line with requirements, that staff are led, developed and motivated to ensure they are aware and capable of meeting their accountabilities, and that projects achieve objectives. The post holder will be responsible for liaising with all functions and/or sub-contractors relevant to the delivery of the training solution to build an integrated training delivery team. The role requires the application of a blend of customer management, staff management and programme management skills covering the entire project lifecycle to deliver the agreed solutions, ensuring the appropriate support is in place through direct and indirect management of the team for the delivery of the solution.
