Senior Systems & Computing Services Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage servers, AD, Systems, Antivirus, updates, upgrades, warranties, SLAs, and licenses
• Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes relevant to the disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Design, Implement and Install Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, MS 365, and other Microsoft Enterprise services.
• Provide support in the area of internal systems, Cloud, network infrastructure, and other Unix Operation systems.
• Integrate servers, including database, E-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated software into enterprise systems.
• Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, and other applications.
• Managing and operating Virtualization Environment, LINUX systems, Storage, and backup systems.
• Managing and Planning Disaster recovery sites and planning.
• Provide support for client/server applications development practices.
• Coordinate and perform in-depth tests including end-user reviews for modified and new systems.
• Monitor and test system performance, prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
• Provide capacity and availability plans & reports
• Provide orientation and training to end-users for all modified and new systems.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Communication Engineering or Computer Science or relevant field.
• A Masters level qualification in Information Management or a related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP stacks and their functionality
• Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2000/2003, Linux
• Advanced knowledge of Internet Information Services
• Knowledge and troubleshooting of MS Exchange 2003/2007
• Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of MS SQL Server 2000/2005
• Minimum knowledge and troubleshooting of Visual Basic Script
• Working knowledge of web application security, understanding of vulnerabilities and countermeasures
• Min Five years of relevant work experience.
• Hands on Technical Project Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of computing systems technologies Cloud Services, Microsoft technologies, and Linux infrastructure systems.
• Good communication (written and oral), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
• Excellent working level English Skills
