Financial Controller

Job Description

• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
• Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting as per Saint-Gobain monthly reporting methodology
• Spearhead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes along with the General Management (rolling forecasts, 3 years LRP etc.)
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
• Ensure marketing and operations reporting, costing, and are in alignment with product portfolio changes regarding new product development
• Interface with management in various departments, including engineering, sales operations, quality, and marketing teams
• Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
• Support the business in product cost estimates and financial impact of any new products in the phase of launch or re-launch
• Monitor large CAPEX planning and feasibility
• Prepare & Analyze financial data
• Assist and support in special projects as assigned

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or construction companies
• Proven work experience in Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications, and Expert in Microsoft Excel
• High analytical skills
• Fluent in English and Arabic (French is a plus) with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Solid knowledge of reporting and financial/budgeting processes
• Essential attitude to Time Management
