About the job

The ITP business team consists of multiple publications and spans industries, keeping professionals connected to the important news, insight, and analysis in the region. We are seeking an experienced, talented, and driven editor to manage and lead editorial content for Oil & Gas KSA, an exciting new print and digital brand launching in KSA to cover the nation’s massive oil and gas sector and its ongoing energy transition.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to run a business magazine across print, digital, social, and events in the heart of the global oil and gas sector—Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be expected to manage the daily workings of the brand, and will be required to research and write content, build a wide network of industry contacts, spearhead the brand’s growth as its ambassador, appear at/host events, and provide editorial support to the commercial team. This role is based in Riyadh, and the editor will report to the Group Editor for Energy & Construction, who is based out of Dubai, and will also work closely with the Oil & Gas Middle East Editor based in Dubai to coordinate on content, events, and more.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

- Complete fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic

- 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role

- Demonstrable experience working across traditional and digital media platforms

- Impeccable writing and editing skills

- The ability to produce quality content quickly

- A level head despite stress

- Strong multi-tasking skills

- An understanding of the oil and gas sector in Saudi Arabia
