Key responsibilities
Recruitmentand ExitClearances
- Assist the Head of HR during the recruitment process including shortlisting ofcandidates.
- Contact candidates andliaiseinterview appointments
- Communicate with candidate refereesthrough emailprovidingreference forms.
- Informunsuccessfulapplicantsthrough email.
- Assistduring the exit process byschedulingexit meetings with leavers and prepare clearanceformsandcomputationofgratuity.
Onboarding support
- Create personal files for allnew staffand ensure that alldocumentationiscompleted
- Generatenew staffemail and code from the schools information system and coordinate withITand other relevant departments - Library and Child protection
- Assistin thepreparationand during the induction period.
- Support the PRO during the integration processprovidingthe necessary documents foracquiringwork visa,workpermits,and residencepermits.
- Supportthe Senior Facility Officer for any accommodation concerns and needs
Logisticalsupport
- Assistnewstaffwithfor any travelneedssuch as issuance of flight tickets and travel insurance.
- Assistin theprofessional learningactivitiesand other school related activities that requires logistical support.
Maintainingand monitoring staff record
- Updating records on staff database system that includes managingthe leave system, including addingnew staffandarchivingleavers.
- Maintain staff records, ensure all absences,lates, early outsarerecorded accordingly.
- Assistduring the payroll for any staff deductions and cover payments.
General Administration
- Be the first point of contact for both telephone and face to faceenquiriesandtake messages whereappropriate.
- Toprovidegeneral clerical support asrequiredforHR departmentincluding but not limited to photocopying, filing,drafting ofletters,etc.
Requirements
Qualifications& skills required:
- Resident in Qatar, under husband / family Sponsorship
- Bachelors degree in Administration orequivalent
- 1-3 years of experience as an HR Officer or similar HR role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication in English (Arabic speaking is an advantage)
- Excellent knowledge of various HR functions such as pay & benefits, recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, training & development etc.
- Good understanding of Qatar labour laws
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in MS Office
