Cost Accountant (Construction Background)

Job Description

• Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization
• Prepare monthly reports with cost forecasts, business additions and total costs
• Prepare and complete internal cost audits
• Work with sites to review and analyze budget performance to include a review of actual and budgeted expenses
• Analyze projects costs and prepare regular reports comparing standards cost with actual cost
• Prepare, examine, and analyze monthly cost statements for every profit/cost center
• Analyze any change in goods and services provided to determine the effect on the total cost
• Define and recommend cost-effective solutions and directing the organization's expenses
• Monitor the actual costs and compare them with the estimated and its impact on the profitability of the company per products/services

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4-7 years of experience (Construction background is a must)
• Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant
• Excellent knowledge ofMicrosoft Office and its applications
• Familiarity with ERP System is preferred
• Good command of English Language(verbal and written)
• Excellent communication skills
• Postgraduate studies are preferred
