الوصف الوظيفي
- Prepare vehicle surface for painting by performing requisite operations like dry sanding, cleaning with thinner and cloth cleaning .
- Apply required number of coats of paint, allowing time for drying and follow up with sanding, polishing and cleaning operations.
- Apply body filler on the requisite areas and repeat sanding operation upon its drying on the surface again followed by application of primer coat on the cleaned surface and allowing it to dry.
- Ensure cleanliness of the painting booth, spray gun and the hose before and after each paint job.
- Mix paint colors to ensure good match with the existing vehicle panel color.
- Inspect painted sections for quality and continuity.
- Apply refinishing products in the correct sequence for proper adhesion and durability.
- Manage multiple assigned paint jobs to meet customer needs and Flat Rate Time (FRT) for each task.
- Take necessary steps to minimize time spent waiting on parts, add-on or authorizations, etc.
- Coordinate with parts counter person to ensure parts are available to complete repair in the time allotted.
- Comply with Quality Standards and Health & Safety procedures affecting self and others.
