Assistant Security Manager

Main Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming IT support calls in the call logging system and direct to the necessary support queue or distribute to other departments as necessary
• Supervise and provide guidance/support to Security Supervisors and House Officers.
• Create a safe and secure environment for our guests and colleagues.
• Assist in the implementation of hotel’s key control program.
• Act as a systems administrator for access control systems and CCTV systems.
• To establish and maintain positive communication networks between the Hotel and Local Authorities to manage highly sensitive information.
• To assist the Director of Security in leading all investigations and crime prevention initiatives.
• Ensure all patrolling, inspection and escort duties are monitored and performed.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for the department.
• To maintain an efficient framework and operational strategy to support VIP visits, entertainment programmes.
• To attend meetings relevant to the safety & security of the property and it’s operational planning & organisation.
• Be a leader in the risk management requirements of the hotel.
• Coordinate and organize the day to day operations for all security operations.
• Manage budget/cost-effectively by monitoring overtime and related expenses.
• To ensure that all physical security systems are working optimally at all times and are used in an efficient and productive

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment.
• A minimum of 1 years of Security experience in a luxury hotel.
• Good knowledge of MS Office Products, and Hotsos.
• Previous experience working in the Middle East is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of CCTV system.
