Establish internal procedures and policies for Business continuity management system including Risk assessment, Business impact analysis, Testing procedures & Continuity plans
Develop and update the strategy for Business continuity and Crisis management
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the entity- wide business continuity management program which includes; coordinating the Business impact analysis (BIA) exercise with the Business continuity plans (BCPs) & incident management plans and
Make sure all the processes have reviewed & completed the BIA and recovery strategies are implemented and documented
Develop testing schedules and coordinate the execution of the exercise plans per the execution checklist while reporting the results
Identify & implement the best practices of business continuity
Maintain the effectiveness of emergency communication tools and ensure all essential positions have alternative way for communication
Coordinate various stakeholders to rollout the BCM awareness program
Implement the Crisis management handbook and hand it and explain the roles to all stakeholders including executives, Crisis leader & Crisis coordinator
Develop High risk scenario plans annually and update them with BCPs
Asses existing third parties and analyze questionnaire results for the new ones
Develop a simulation exercise with the crisis management team on one of the high risk scenario plans involving the minimum of the 'core' members and relevant subject matter experts
