WebBeds provides our global network of travel trade partners with the choice of 200,000 hotels in nearly 10,000 destinations. Customers can access this huge choice of inventory, ranging from city-centre international chain hotels to independent beach properties, via market-leading booking websites or an APIdeployed in hybrid cloud environment and are currently engaged in a series of substantial ongoing development projects. Clients can also access transfer services in 950 destinations, and thousands of tour guide excursions and attraction tickets.

Umrah Holidays Internationalis working hand in hand with the Saudi authorities as they look to bring Umrah and Hajj travel online in line with Vision 2030. The Product Owner position is a critical role in helping us build the vision and strategy to build the best online platform for Hajj and Umrah travel.

Job Purpose

• The role of a Product Owner at WebBeds is to work closely with the Umrah Holidays delivery teams and respective stakeholders to build the number one Umrah platform in the world.
• Through close collaboration with business stakeholders and Product Leadership, you willprioritise development based on the Product Vision, stakeholder targets, market forces and/or regulatory requirements.
• Based on their knowledge of the overall vision and end goals they willmaximise the value of the products created by their product delivery team, collaborate with other teams andwhen necessary adapt the details of sprints and iterations to ensure agreed goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role are to:

• Create, maintain and ownthe product road map and shape the vision for the delivery teams to deliver and stakeholder to benefit from.
• Maintain a prioritized product backlog based on User Story Maps and User stories
• Challenge stakeholder objectives in search of higher-level goals/hidden motivation, distinguishing between ‘wants’ and ‘needs’ and establishing the business value of each request
• Understand and maximize value of products delivered
• Represent the "voice of the customer" in collaboration with the delivery team and ensure everyone is aware of what we need and why
• Turn ideas into valuable outcomes delivering often and incrementally
• Participate in team's meetings and agile ceremonies to follow the progress and ensure what is delivered meets the desired outcomes
• Create supporting documents for new functionality/processes and spread information about deliveries and progress on new products to the wider organization
• Establish and report on KPIs to measure product uptake and value delivered through data analysis and user feedback
• Develop relationships and collaborate with people from across the business, ensuring shared understanding and expectations of the business needs, drivers and challenges
• Collaborate with and share feedback with your product delivery team to improve processes
• Explore new opportunities and ideas to help understand value proposition, scope of work and feasibility to implement
• Continually learn agile best practices and the latest technology that can be used for products
