MEP Manager

Job Description

• MEP Manager to lead the effort in coordinating and managing the MEP trades on major construction projects. This candidate will work with design and construction Project team to ensure successful completion of all MEP trade work Starting from the designphase to the constructionthroughdesign development stage.
• Good understanding of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and low-voltage systems.
• General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes and Plumbing Codes as they relate to construction of project.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or electrical and mechanical implementation problems meaning.
• Review Design and schematic package , IFC , Contract Documents, making suggestions/modifications as they relate to the MEP trades.
• Coordinate activities, materials procurement and other related activities with Project Manager and Field Staff.
• Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the MEP engineering and construction.
• Review technical submissions and design layouts as well as material submittals from consultant and contractors.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Specialized in Mechanical is preferred.
• To have electrical background.
• Experience in Mechanical works (HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting).
• Experience in the pricing of Plumbing & Fire Fighting.
• Must have experience in all phases: Design, Shop Drawings, and Execution.
• Experience needed: 12 - 15 years.
