Manager QA Engineering

Were looking for a Manager QA Engineering join Procores Product & Technology Team. As a Manager QA Engineering youll you will oversee a team of QA engineers to deliver highquality software products. You will be responsible for software testing design and for a variety of key customerfacing and internal applications. Your job will require you to coach and mentor a team of QA engineers while also participating in test design and . You should have very good leadership skills and you should be creative and proactive to work successfully in a fastpaced environment including multiple platforms and a distributed architecture diverse technologies and lab environments. You will work closely with software engineers product managers engineering managers DevOps engineers and other stakeholders.

This role reports to the Director QA Engineering and is based in Cairo Egypt. Were looking for someone to join our team immediately. 

What youll do:

• Lead & Mentor  Manage mentor and grow a team of QA Engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement technical excellence and career development.
• Define Testing Strategies  Design implement and improve testing strategies to enhance product quality including manual automated performance and security testing.
• Ensure HighQuality Deliverables  Oversee test planning and reporting to produce reliable assessments of software readiness.
• Optimize Test Automation  Drive the adoption of automated testing solutions (preferably using Cypress) to increase test coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate Across Teams  Work closely with engineering product management and DevOps teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle.
• Drive Process Improvements  Establish and enhance QA processes methodologies and best practices to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Manage Testing Environments  Oversee test environments CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless deployment of highquality software.
• Advocate for Quality  Promote a qualityfirst mindset across engineering teams ensuring testing is integrated at every stage of development.
• Support Release Management  Assist with release readiness regression testing and deployment validation to ensure smooth product launches.

What were looking for:

• 15 years of experience in a similar role.

• Experience in mentoring coaching and leading QA engineers.

• Thorough understanding of software testing methodologies QA tools and Agile principles.

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple diverse projects simultaneously.

• Must be flexible independent and selfmotivated.

• Strong database manipulation skills mainly in MySQL

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

• Experience in test automation (Preferably in Cyress)

• Good understanding of Linux administration and DevOps principles

• Good understanding of the full web stack 

• Selfmotivated with the ability to prioritize meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.

• Experience in API testing using Postman

• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams is a plus
