Key Responsibilities:
The Electrical Supervisor will be accountable for the following activities during the Ruya CPP Topside Project execution:
Monitor and Supervise Electrical Construction: Oversee and supervise electrical construction activities carried out by the CPP Contractor Subcontractors and Vendors at the main Topside Construction worksite and at subcontractor facilities during execution phases.
Ensure Compliance with Project Requirements: Ensure the CPP Topsides facilities are built according to project specifications and verify that contractors/subcontractors/vendors have adequate equipment resources and manpower to perform the tasks with the required quality and within the scheduled timeframe.
Daily Reporting: Report on a daily basis to the Electrical Superintendent regarding progress and issues.
Assist Construction Team: Provide assistance to the Topside Construction team on all electrical matters and collaborate with the PreCommissioning and Commissioning Teams during precommissioning and commissioning activities.
HSSE Compliance: Demonstrate exemplary behavior in line with Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE) regulations and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Adhere to Technical Referential: Ensure compliance with technical referentials and applicable local and international codes.
Offshore Phases: Participate in the CPP Topsides hookup installation and offshore commissioning phases as necessary.
Job Dimensions:
Project Scope: Ruya Batch 1 involves multiple EPCIC projects in the Al Shaheen field development including:
- New Wellhead Platforms (WHP)
- New Riser Platform (RP)
- New Central Processing Platform
- New Pipelines
- Brownfield Modifications
- New Wellhead Platforms (WHP)
International Operations: Projects will be executed across multiple international sites and will require managing complex interfaces with other departments and entities.
Activities:
Safety Compliance: Promote and adhere to applicable safety procedures and HSE standards in all activities.
Company Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company values policies relevant laws regulations and industry standards.
Confidentiality: Treat all information obtained during work with confidentiality.
Participate in Coordination Meetings: Attend meetings with Contractors/Subcontractors concerning electrical matters.
Review Contractors Documents: Review contractors and suppliers Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and procedures in coordination with other relevant disciplines.
Progress Monitoring: Monitor and control the implementation of approved drawings plans and inspection schedules. Track daily/weekly progress reports focusing on electrical scope activities including cable trays supports cable pulling equipment installation and termination.
Resource Verification: Verify that contractors manpower tools and resources are adequate to meet project milestones.
Deficiency Reporting: Identify and report any work deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
Action Plan Followup: Follow up on action plans or mitigation measures to address issues identified during execution.
Permit to Work System: Ensure the correct implementation of the Permit to Work system.
Offshore Installation Support: Support offshore installation activities and be available for weekend or night shifts if critical activities require it.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
Certifications: Valid CompEx Training Certificate (Modules EX01/02/03/04).
Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical construction precommissioning and quality inspection within Topside projects.
Industry Knowledge: Good knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards and international codes/standards related to design construction inspection and precommissioning.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work in a complex multicultural environment.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer programs for word processing database management spreadsheets and email communication.
Language: Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Training: H2S OPITO and TBOSIET certifications are required.
