We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Reservation Manager to join our team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our hospitality management team you will be responsible for overseeing all reservation activities maximizing revenue and ensuring high occupancy rates while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Lead and supervise the reservations team providing training support and guidance to ensure consistent highquality service
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize occupancy rates and revenue generation
- Collaborate with other departments to create and manage reservation policies and procedures
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform pricing and promotional strategies
- Manage and maintain the propertys reservation system ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Handle complex reservation inquiries and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
- Generate regular reports on occupancy revenue and other key performance indicators
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support promotional activities and special events
- Ensure compliance with all relevant hospitality industry regulations and company policies
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve reservation processes and enhance guest satisfaction
- Develop and maintain relationships with key corporate clients and travel agencies to drive bookings
- Implement upselling techniques to maximize room revenue and enhance guest experiences
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to reservation team members
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in reservation systems
- Coordinate with the housekeeping department to ensure accurate room inventory management
Qualifications :
- Proven experience of 5 years in a leadership role within hotel reservations or a similar hospitality setting
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Tourism or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Strong proficiency in reservation management systems (e.g. Opera Amadeus) and revenue management principles
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Fluency in English; additional language skills especially Arabic would be highly advantageous
- Knowledge of local hospitality industry trends and cultural norms in Saudi Arabia
- Positive attitude attention to detail and a strong drive for results
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays as required
- Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) certification or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and marketing automation tools
- Proven track record of implementing successful revenue optimization strategies
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to create and manage budgets
- Experience in crosscultural communication and managing diverse teams
- Familiarity with digital marketing techniques and their application in the hospitality industry
