Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design development and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. This includes power generation distribution and electrical control systems as well as ensuring the systems comply with safety and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development:
Design electrical systems and components such as circuits power distribution networks and electrical equipment based on client or project requirements.
Create schematics and technical drawings using CAD (ComputerAided Design) software.
Select appropriate materials components and equipment for electrical systems considering performance cost and safety standards.
Design power systems for buildings factories renewable energy systems or electrical grid infrastructures.
Project Management:
Manage and oversee electrical engineering projects from initial concept to completion ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Prepare project specifications cost estimates and schedules.
Collaborate with other engineering teams (e.g. civil mechanical) to ensure electrical components are integrated into overall designs.
Monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Installation & Commissioning:
Supervise the installation and testing of electrical systems ensuring that installations meet design specifications and safety standards.
Test and evaluate electrical systems and equipment to ensure they function properly.
