We are growing our Support team and we are looking for a junior DBA to join our team: Work as part of a small agile team under the support team work with colleagues in Israel Europe the USA and Russia
Responsibilities:
- Database Support: Your role will involve assisting in maintaining and optimizing databases that are at the core of our applications ensuring they perform at their best.
- Issue Resolution: Collaborate closely with our experienced senior DBAs to troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated issues gaining valuable insights along the way.
- Documentation: Youll actively contribute to the upkeep of detailed database documentation and generate reports for our stakeholders ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with seasoned professionals including developers and system administrators to foster a collaborative knowledgesharing environment.
Requirements :
- Passion for Learning: Were looking for candidates who possess a strong desire to learn and have a genuine passion for database administration.
- Professional Experience: The ideal candidate should bring a minimum of 1 year of professional experience as an Application DBA to the team.
- Database Knowledge: Essential is a basic knowledge of various database management systems (e.g. Oracle MySQL SQL Server PostgreSQL).
- SQL Expertise: With at least 1 year of experience in SQL database performance tuning you should be adept at creating the right indexing strategy to meet data growth needs and excel in performance monitoring and query optimization.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills an innate ability for problemsolving and troubleshooting and a readiness to embrace new challenges are valued.
- Adaptability: A positive attitude and the ability to remain flexible in a dynamic environment are highly appreciated attributes.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English both written and spoken is a requirement.
