We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Supervisor Engineer to join our team in Tabuk Saudi Arabia. In this critical role you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing health safety and environmental practices across our engineering projects and operations.
- Develop implement and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local and international standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Lead incident investigations root cause analyses and develop preventive measures to mitigate future risks
- Provide technical guidance and training to staff on HSE matters ensuring a culture of safety throughout the organization
- Manage and mentor a team of HSE professionals fostering their growth and development
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to integrate HSE considerations into all aspects of operations
- Prepare and present HSE performance reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Stay updated on relevant HSE regulations and best practices particularly those applicable to Saudi Arabia
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of environmental management systems
- Develop and manage emergency response plans and conduct regular drills
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Health and Safety Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in HSE roles within engineering or construction industries
- Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health)
- Indepth knowledge of health and safety regulations OSHA standards and environmental management systems
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and management techniques
- Proven experience in incident investigation and reporting
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in supervising HSE teams
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office and safety management software
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian health and safety regulations
- Experience in construction or industrial safety practices
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as required
- Ability to work on night shift
