Job Description
In this role you work as a estimating Mechanical Engineer doing the Takeoff for the Duct & Pipe (HVAC) / Plumbing with all accessories and estimate the jobs per company extension and software. This will be an opportunity to work with a leading Mechanical Contractor in the Chicago IL USA area. Candidates should expect to be fully integrated with the US company working with their team on a daily basis.
Candidates for this position are expected to work in office at our location in Cairo Egypt.
Working hours will be from 4PM1AM Egypt time as the candidate will be working directly with the US company.
Requirements
Mechanical Engineering Degree (or similar)
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
4 years of Takeoff & Estimating for Pipe and Duct experience
Senior level experience with Mechanical systems (HVAC plumbing)
Ability to read mechanical drawings (HVAC Plumbing)
Knowledgeable bout duct and pipe material Connection and Accessories
Strong Excel skills (can create worksheets with formulas)
Experience in Takeoff software
