As a UI Application Engineer you will work on implementing designs as per business needs and preferences using technologies to make the user interfaces responsive to different devices and platforms Avertra s UI Developer will be responsible for translating visually appealing designs into responsive interactive user interfaces for both web and mobile applications. You will work on Mendixbased applications and use your skills in HTML CSS SCSS SASS JavaScript and React Native. If you are familiar with design tools like Figma and are passionate about creating seamless user experiences we want you on our team.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Support the company s departments in UX/UI efforts.
- Work with UI/UX designer during construction/code of User Interface to ensure the design is developed as planned.
- Build and maintain custom styles using HTML CSS SCSS and SASS ensuring the design is pixelperfect modular and scalable
- Keep the line of product designs consistent and uptodate on UI trends
- Take a usercentered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your UI implementations.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Follow design and wireframes user stories user journeys and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Ensure that User interfaces are compatible with different devicessizes browsers and languages particularities (Different longitudes alignment etc).
- Organize CSS/SASS files correctly and in a scalable form.
- Change User Interface implementation as desired by the business owners.
- Troubleshoot and UI bug fixing.
Requirements

- Ability to work with clients/designers to understand detailed requirements and design complete user interfaces that meet client needs and vision.
- Willing to work with people in remote sites or different time zones.
- Be passionate about UX/UI and other areas of design and innovation.

- Willing and flexible to work with the team to create initiate layouts if mockups or wireframes are not available.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent understanding of web technologies
- Strong understanding of JSON.
- Excellent understanding of HTML.
- Excellent understanding of CSS.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of Bootstrap.
- Good understanding of Eclipse IDE.
- Good understanding of MicrosoftVisual Studio.
- Good understanding of SASS or SCSS.
- Strong understanding of Usability.
- Strong understanding of cross browser cross devices compatibility (AndroidApple Browsers).
- Extensive experience in using UI/CSS best practices to organize code and a deep understanding of mobile and responsive design.
Preferences: Show images of your work or share websites that you have developed as per your resume.
Education: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Travel: Occasional traveling for specific project requirements.
Work Schedule: Avertras local office schedule.
