- Job Purpose
Summary The area of application and usage of Sikas products is highly technical. Therefore the efforts of the marketing team need to be complemented with technical inputs to provide professional service to the customers. The Specifications Manager provides such support and is a common function rendering his services to all the regions of the company. This position may involve extensive traveling within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Include the following while other duties may be assigned thereafter:
- Analysis of market field potential and future trends
- Analysis of competitor products and market activities
- Propose and develop product range and system to fulfil market field needs through use of PCP/PMP/TPP/PLS procedures (in collaboration with Technical Manager)
- Ensuring objectives of corporate/regional FIT projects are met in local markets including planning coordinating and control and reporting of all market rollout activities (products supporting documentation samples training etc.)
- Planning coordinating controlling reporting and overall management of marketing activities with the objective of satisfying market needs market potentials and achievement of sales targets
- Assisting and supporting the responsible BU Manager in setting and achieving annual budgets and 3 yr plans defined and management agreed marketing strategies and action plans
- Issue Method Statements/Specifications with Technical Managers approval as required by market needs
- Selling of specifications and product system to specifies consultants developers etc.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with specialist applicators/specifiers/KAs to enhance our sales potential
- Plan and execute product training programms for internal staff and applicators (in collaboration with Technical Manager)
- Plan and control product presentations seminars conferences media articles Sika at Work Case Studies and other marketing activities
- Coordinate and control regular LET meetings
- Source and control project leads up to Quotation stage using the CRM reporting system including recording of all successful project/product sales
- Reporting as required by senior Management on plans objectives and result of marketing activities
- Plan coordinate and supervise correct application of product site sample areas
- Coordinate and control the satisfactory conclusion of Customer Complaints
- Coordinate and control the products prices & stocks of all relevant marketing material (PDS Brochures Leaflets Technical Papers Samples etc.)
- Assist support or execute any other reasonable tasks as defined and required by senior Management
Qualifications :
- Qualifications & Experience (Competencies Required)
- Educational Credentials
(BA/BBA) in Civil Engineering Chemical Engineering industrial Engineering or other related field.
- Work Experience
- Minimum of 6yrs of related experience
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Language Skills
- Ability to communicate clearly read and write effectively; in English and Arabic
- English language level shall not be less than proficiency or native Arabic speaker.
- Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully an individual should have a strong level of computer skills
- Familiarity with ERP system Oracle SAP other MS Office Package Internet software and Inventory software
