As a Principal Engineer in Wet Utilities within our Infrastructure department you will lead highprofile projects ensure technical excellence and maintain strong client relationships. You will provide strategic direction mentor junior engineers and drive the successful delivery of complex Infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Wet Utilities for various projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong productive client relationships serving as the primary point of contact for major projects.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
- Prepare and review detailed technical specifications drawings and documentation ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Manage project budgets resources and schedules ensuring optimal utilization and financial performance. Provide regular reports on project status technical performance and team development to senior management.
- Prepare reports calculations and design documentation
- Prepare design using Civil 3D software for BIM environment.
- Managing Infrastructure projects supporting senior engineers and project leaders in delivering successful outcomes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field. Masters degree preferred.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Wet Utilities with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
- Extensive experience in design of Wet Utilities including Potable Water Sewer Storm Irrigation District cooling and Firefighting.
- Working knowledge of relevant software packages like EPANET WaterCAD InfoWorks SewerCAD StormCAD and SWMM.
- Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus & 58; ArcGIS MicroStation MicroDrainage HAMMER.
- Indepth knowledge of industry standards codes and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
