Director - Commercial

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director Commercial  to join our team in NEOM Saudi Arabia. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving the development and execution of mixeduse commercial projects in one of the worlds most ambitious and innovative urban development initiatives.

• Accountable for a variety of complex deliverables throughout the lifecycle of a Giga project.
• Responsible for both cost and contracts and project controls teams on a project.
• Oversee financial analysis feasibility studies and risk assessments for potential developments
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including investors government officials and business partners
• Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood
• Reviews and responds to contractors claims in accordance with the provisions of the Conditions of Contract and ensure the Clients interests are protected
• Provides direct liaison with the Client project team.
• Reviews the contracts and commercial reports
• Represents the clients/AECOM in dispute resolutions/arbitration procedures.
• Monitors and manages the performance of direct reports
• Drive operational efficiency and financial performance across the portfolio

Qualifications :

• Good working knowledge of FIDIC suite of contracts.
• Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost value and risk not just cost in isolation.
• Excellent numeracy verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of working as part of integrated multiorganisation collaborative teams
• Experience of working within a client organization either directly or through a colocation/secondment arrangement would be of benefit
• Exceptional project management skills including budget oversight and timeline management.
• Degree Qualified BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
• Professionally Qualified ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS CIOB or other equivalent institution.
• Willingness to relocate to NEOM Saudi Arabia and adapt to a dynamic fastpaced environment.
