Responsibilities for Backend Lead (Startup Background Required):
- Lead the design development and implementation of backend services using Python Django Node.js ReactJS and other MERN stack technologies tailored to legal tech applications.
- Guide the development of scalable interactive web applications with a focus on improving legal workflows and enhancing the user experience.
- Drive best practices and coding standards within the technology team to ensure efficient maintainable and robust development processes.
- Oversee and mentor a growing team of developers fostering a collaborative and highperformance environment.
- Manage infrastructure including AWS GCP and other cloud services ensuring scalability security and reliability.
- Own the user experience from database schema design to API implementation using MongoDB with Mongoose and Node.js with Express.js.
- Apply strong analytical and problemsolving skills to tackle complex technical challenges specific to the legal tech industry.
- Collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders including legal professionals to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business goals.
- Maintain attention to detail and accountability consistently delivering highquality work within deadlines.
StartupSpecific Requirements:
- Experience in a startup environment: Must have handson experience working in earlystage startups or highgrowth technology companies understanding the unique challenges and dynamics of startup culture.
- Agility and adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities limited resources and evolving project requirements common in startups.
- Crossfunctional collaboration: Ability to work closely with founders business teams and other departments to align technology goals with the overall vision and strategy of the startup.
- Ownership and initiative: A selfstarter who can take complete ownership of technical projects proactively identifying opportunities to improve product functionality and user experience.
- Scalability mindset: Experience designing and implementing solutions with a focus on scalability and rapid growth to support the companys trajectory.
- Lean development experience: Familiarity with delivering MVPs and iterating quickly based on feedback to meet fastpaced milestones.
- Resource efficiency: Ability to create effective solutions within constrained budgets and resources leveraging creativity and innovation to deliver results.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: A passion for building and scaling products coupled with the ability to thrive in a fastmoving ambiguous environment.
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: QAR5000.00 QAR6000.00 per month
