Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Accounting Manager to lead and oversee our accounting department. The successful candidate will manage daily accounting operations ensure compliance with financial regulations and provide critical insights to support strategic decisionmaking. This role requires strong leadership analytical and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage Financial Operations:
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the accounting cycle including accounts payable receivable payroll and general ledger functions.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
2. Compliance and Audit:
Maintain adherence to financial regulations tax laws and company policies.
Coordinate internal and external audits addressing inquiries and implementing recommendations.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis.
4. Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
Automate routine accounting tasks and improve reporting systems.
5. Team Leadership:
Supervise mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals.
Set goals conduct performance reviews and provide training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (CPA CMA or equivalent certification preferred).
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in financial analysis budgeting and forecasting.
Effective communication and leadership skills.
Job Types: Fulltime Permanent
Pay: From BD800.000 per month
