Aon is a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk retirement and health solutions. Our dedicated team of experts help clients navigate the constantly changing landscape of business risk and people. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company
Reconcile accounts and ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions
Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
Identify areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Assist with tax preparation and filing
Provide support for internal and external audits
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification preferred
3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
