Syarah is on a mission to change how people buy their cars in Saudi and the Middle East. We offer buyers an endtoend digital car buying experience where they can buy their next car from the comfort of their living rooms. Under the hood we build systems to manage sourcing of cars inspection photography merchandising reconditioning financing insurance shipping and many more. Role Summary:
The IT Officer is responsible for maintaining supporting and enhancing the IT infrastructure and systems within the organization. This role includes troubleshooting managing network security ensuring data integrity and providing technical support to employees. The IT Officer will work closely with other departments to ensure efficient IT operations and support organizational growth through technology.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1. Software Management:
- Install configure and maintain company software applications.
- Troubleshoot software issues and ensure proper updates and licensing.
- Manage user accounts access permissions and system backups.
2. Hardware Management:
- Oversee the procurement setup and maintenance of company hardware including computers mobile devices and other equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware malfunctions promptly.
- Maintain hardware inventory and manage warranties and replacements.
3. Networking:
- Design implement and manage the companys network infrastructure.
- Ensure secure and efficient operation of internal networks VPNs firewalls and internet connectivity.
- Troubleshoot network issues and optimize performance.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures.
4. Technical Support:
- Provide timely and efficient IT support to employees resolving issues related to hardware software and network systems.
- Assist with IT training for staff members to improve proficiency in using IT resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in an IT support or related role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware networking and software management.
- Proficiency with operating systems (Windows Linux macOS) and enterprise software.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and data protection policies.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- **Preferred Experience:**
- Experience with Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with Linux systems.
- Experience in software companies.
