Job Description: Event & Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Event & Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments has strong problemsolving skills and is solutionoriented. Working under the Project Manager the coordinator will play a critical role in event planning logistics management and onground execution ensuring seamless operations from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan and execute events and projects effectively.
  • Coordinate with suppliers clients hostesses and promoters to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Supervise event setup mantling and dismantling ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Provide onground supervision during events addressing challenges promptly with creative solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to keep the company competitive and innovative.
  • Assist in business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and partnerships.
  • Prepare and manage event documentation including schedules contracts and supplier agreements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve logistical challenges in real time during events.

 


Qualifications :

Requirements:

  • Proactive solutionoriented mindset with excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Proven experience in coordinating events particularly onsite with suppliers clients and event staff.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of managing supplier relationships effectively.
  • Handson experience with event setup and dismantling processes.
  • Knowledge of market trends and current practices in the events and logistics industry.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays during high seasons.
  • Excellent communication multitasking and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in event management logistics or a related field.
  • Experience managing hostesses and promoters during events.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and cost control practices.
