Job Purpose:
As a Senior Software Testing Engineer your primary responsibility is to lead the manual testing efforts within the software development lifecycle. You will independently design execute and document comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. Leveraging your indepth knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices you will utilize advanced testing techniques to identify critical defects and analyze test results to pinpoint their causes. Collaborating closely with developers you will facilitate timely defect resolution and ensure the delivery of highquality software. Additionally you will mentor junior testers sharing your expertise in manual testing tools and techniques to foster team growth and efficiency.
- Proficiency in independently designing executing and documenting comprehensive manual test plans.
- Indepth understanding of software testing methodologies such as blackbox testing exploratory testing and boundary value analysis.
- Ability to utilize advanced testing techniques to identify critical software defects effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze test results and identify causes of defects.
- Excellent communication skills to report defects effectively and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like Jira Bugzilla TestRail and Zephyr including advanced features.
- Familiarity with mobile testing tools such as Appium (if applicable).
- Basic understanding of automation testing tools like Selenium WebDriver for scripting simple tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior testers and share knowledge of manual testing tools and techniques.
- Proven track record of delivering highquality software products within specified timelines.
Requirements
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related degree.
- At least 4 years experience in testing Web and Mobile Applications.
- CRM Testing experience is a must
- Excellent attention to detail to identify defects including Functional/ Non Functional defects.
- Passionate about the quality of our applications.
- ISTQB Certification
- Previous working experience involving agile Scrum
- Experience in the following areas of testing: automation performance and security is preferable.
