Summary of Position:
The Startup Investment Analyst will play a key role in identifying analyzing and supporting investment opportunities within Ennovate Ventures portfolio. This fulltime oneyear position offers the potential for extension upon successful delivery of assigned tasks. Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct detailed market and industry research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Analyze startup business models competitive landscapes and market positioning.
Investment Evaluation:
Perform financial analysis including valuation forecasting and due diligence of potential investments.
Prepare investment memos and recommendations for decisionmaking by the leadership team.
Portfolio Management:
Monitor the performance of existing portfolio companies including financial and operational metrics.
Provide support to portfolio companies in strategy development and scaling efforts.
Networking and Deal Sourcing:
Build and maintain relationships with startups entrepreneurs and investors.
Participate in startup pitch events workshops and networking sessions to identify investment opportunities.
Report Preparation:
Generate regular reports summarizing investment performance industry trends and strategic insights.
Ensure highquality documentation and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic Support:
Assist in developing Ennovate Ventures investment strategies processes and frameworks.
Contribute to the design and delivery of capacitybuilding programs for startups.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in finance economics business administration or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in investment analysis venture capital Finance analysis Startups Acceleration or a similar role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial modeling tools.
Proven competence to assess priorities and manage programmes with variety of activities in a time sensitive environment and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as an effective team member in a complex and fastpaced environment
Exceptional organizational skills Experience
Experience working with startups or within the innovation ecosystem is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to conduct indepth market research and develop actionable insights.
Prior experience in preparing investment memos investment dataroom development or similar documentation Qualities & Attitude
