About the position
The Temporary Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for providing operational support on data annotation tasks at the research station in Arusha.
Responsibilities
- Data quality control: Assist with developing and implementing a strategy for ensuring highquality data flow.
- Image data annotation: Support machine learning operations by annotating images to a quality standard defined by the team and specified in the supporting documents
- Data quality checks: Performing thorough quality checks on data annotated by data annotation interns to identify any errors inconsistencies or inaccuracies and taking necessary corrective actions.
- Project reporting: Support in compiling and organizing project findings results and insights into a comprehensive final project report.
- Under the supervision of the Senior Data Quality Analyst assist with the management and supervision of data annotation interns ensuring adherence to the SOPs for image annotation.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor of Agriculture Sciences or related courses.
- Experience in using a labelling platform such as LabelMe RoboFlow CVAT
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office package
- Advanced command of English and Swahili both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
- Welldeveloped skills in personal organisation priority setting problemsolving and accuracy.
- Confidence in supervising the work of others and ability to communicate clearly about the progress of work
Terms of employment
This position is a nationally recruited parttime (60%) position based in Arusha Tanzania. The contract will be for a period of 11 months
