United Feed Co. is a leading provider of highquality animal feed products to farms and ranches across the country. We are committed to providing our customers with topnotch service and nutrition solutions for their livestock. As we continue to grow we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team.
Job Overview:
As an Accountant at United Feed Co. you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of the company. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data and will work closely with our finance team to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries bank reconciliations and journal entries
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Process employee payroll and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies
Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide financial insights and recommendations
Stay uptodate with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in all financial activities
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
Minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
