This role is responsible for managing the sterilization and disinfection of medical equipment and instruments used in various medical procedures. The role involves ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations industry standards and infection control protocols to maintain a safe sterile environment for both patients and medical staff. Additionally the role may involve supporting education and training efforts related to sterilization techniques particularly in settings with high medical equipment density.
Main Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and preparing instruments and equipment for sterilization.
- Operating sterilization equipment.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Medical Technology Nursing or a related discipline).
- SCFHS Medical Sterilization Specialist License
- Experience: Minimum 23 years of experience in sterilization or infection control in a healthcare setting particularly within a medical college or hospital environment.
- Familiarity with highdensity medical instrument management and sterilization practices.
