A leading VAS company in Amman Jordan has an opening for Technical Support Engineer Magento. The selected Engineer will be in charge of the following scope of work:
- Magento Maintenance: Provide ongoing maintenance for the headless Magentobased ecommerce platform ensuring stability smooth operation and seamless integration with the frontend and webview mobile app.
- Webview Mobile App Support: Maintain and update the webview mobile app as needed ensuring compatibility with Magento updates and optimal performance across all mobile devices.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Deliver continuous technical support to address and resolve any issues that arise on both the website and mobile app ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of bugs or errors.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Regularly monitor the performance of both the Magento platform and webview app conducting optimizations to improve loading times user experience and overall site efficiency.
- Platform Updates & Patch Management: Apply Magento updates patches and thirdparty module updates as needed to keep the platform current stable and secure ensuring no disruption to the live environment.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Thoroughly test all maintenance updates and patches before deploying to production ensuring stable performance with no interruptions to user experience.
- Backup & Recovery: Set up and manage regular backups of the platform and mobile app to ensure quick recovery in case of any unforeseen events or system failures.
Requirements:
- Magento Expertise: Proficient in Magento 2.0 development including custom module development theme customization and extension integration.
- Web Development Skills: Strong knowledge of NodeJS HTML CSS JavaScript PHP and MySQL.
- Experience with responsive design frameworks and web development best practices.
- Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in web development with a proven track record of maintaining ecommerce projects.
- Problemsolving Abilities: Ability to identify troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills enabling effective collaboration with the client and team members.
- Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies as needed by the project.
- University Degree in related field.
