Your responsibilities will include facilitating effective communication among project teams and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations, and maintaining comprehensive and accurate project documentation.
You will be working on an unprecedented mega project as part of a rapidly expanding business. Your expertise will be essential in handling inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally. Additionally, you will coordinate travel, vehicle, and accommodation arrangements for Jacobs’ site staff, ensuring seamless operations.
A key aspect of your role will involve keeping site personnel informed about rules and regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining an efficient and current filing system for safety, quality, and other site-related documentation. Supporting other site-based Jacobs staff will be crucial; you will assist with work coordination, regular reporting, documentation preparation, and communication with Jacobs offices.
To excel in this position, you should have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in site administration or project support roles, preferably within the energy or construction sectors, is required. Experience supporting senior managers in a construction environment will be highly advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, at an intermediate to advanced level is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to navigate the complexities of this role effectively. You must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks while adhering to strict deadlines.
