Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented professional to join our team as a Fleet Coordinator. The Fleet Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our organizations vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience demonstrating a strong understanding of fleet management logistics and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daytoday operations of the organizations vehicle fleet ensuring optimal performance maintenance and compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate vehicle inspections repairs and scheduled maintenance.
- Plan and coordinate the efficient deployment of vehicles to meet operational needs.
- Track and optimize vehicle routes to ensure timely and costeffective transportation.
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive system for tracking and managing fleet assets.
- Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of asset records.
- Implement strategies to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations governing fleet operations.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with drivers to address concerns provide support and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate driver training programs and assess performance.
- Collect and analyze data related to fleet performance expenses and key performance indicators.
- Prepare regular reports for management with insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within fleet management.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management software and systems.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to vehicle operations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
