Assuming the responsibility and accountability of specific assigned clinic/ area using collaborative approach with
other team member to ensure that our patients are receiving the expected care/ service. OPD Nurse acts as liaison
facilitating collaboration between physician patients family and interdisciplinary team member/ other department
staff.
*Ensures the readiness and arrangement of the clinic/ assigned area (environment cleanliness/
supplies) on a daily basis.
- Assists Physician in examining the patient.
- Receives calls clarification and answer as needed.
- Organizes the patient flow to and from the clinic.
- Ensures that all required documents are completed (claims/ referral etc.)
- Tracks patient status and assist as needed.
- Communicates with lab/ radiology and other department as needed.
- Checks the vital signs and document it properly.
- Refers any findings/ observation to the treating doctors immediately.
- Carryouts doctor order as needed in a timely manner.
- Processes admission and referral accurately and in timely manner
- Performs the requested and ordered Nursing procedures/ intervention which includes:
- Administering nebulization
- Administering medication including IM injection
- Gluco check
- Provides patient/ family education as per their needs.
- Adheres to nursing documentation policy.
- Initiates emergency and resuscitative measures as needed.
- Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Maintains required mandatory general and specific competencies.
- Adheres to JCIA/ CBAHI Standards
- Attends the departmental education/ training activities.
- Attends the department meetings.
- Adheres to infection control principles.
- Adheres to HMG Nursing Dress Code policy.
- Handles department machine/ equipment:
- Dinamap and pulse oximeter
- Crash cart and other resuscitation equipment
- Fat Analyzer
- Participates in personcentered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Enriches patient experience with compassion respect and dignity.
- Performs other applicable task and duties assigned by Charge Nurse within the realm of his/ her
- knowledge skills and abilities.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BSN Graduate with PRC license *will accept newly graduated Nurses with license with less than 1year gap from the date of graduation
- will accept Nurses with a minimum of 1year experience or more as well (experience will start on the PRC issuance date)
- Nonhospital experience Nurses will be accepted such as RHU/Community Nurses Lyingin Nurses and clinic Nurses excluding company and school Nurses.
- Willing to process Dataflow and Mumaris will be processed by the Employer HMG Group
- Saudi Prometric will be in KSA upon deployment
